Glass Manufacturing
At Quantum Coating Incorporated, we have spent many years exploring
and innovating glass technology, essentially, with hopes to avail avionics,
and bring forth greater additions to cockpit displays. We incorporate our
expert technicians with advanced machinery to manufacture glass in a
wide variety of shapes and sizes suitable to your personal or business
needs. We produce flat panels, windows, prisms, and a variety of optical
lenses to your satisfaction. Our glass products are also used in a range
of areas for commercial, industrial, military, aviation and optical purposes.
Furthermore, all of our components coincide with specific operations (MIL-STD-105).
Our capabilities include contouring, drilling, grinding, and precision
polishing. We've attained the capacity to contour odd shapes and sizes,
ranging from .50" to as large as 14". We also drill through holes and
blind holes to tolerances of +/-.002" on part .100" diameter to 20"
diameter. To adhere to instrument manufacturing requirements, QCI can
grind and polish Plano-, Plano-Concave and Plano-Convex surfaces. In
addition to this, we have the ability to provide glass parts with special
coatings including AR coatings, ITO Conductive coatings, Head-Up
Display Coating, and specific coatings to enhance infrared, visible and/or
UV light waves. Laminations are also available.
